In the name of God Amen:

I, James E. Campbell of the County of Hopkins and State of Kentucky, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, That is to say:

1. I will devise and bequeath to my beloved sister Sophronia Martin, of Madisonville, Kentucky, the undivided East-half of the lot of ground lying and fronting on Main street in said City, being the lot on which I reside with my said sister, This devise to her is to include the dwelling house and all improvements on the East-half of said lot, Said lot is bounded on the East by Main Street; on the South by Broadway; on the west by the Louisville & Nashville Railroad; and on the North by the lot of S.H. Holloman, The west half of said lot, with dwelling and improvements is hereinafter devised to my niece, Kate C. Cunningham,

2. I will, devise and bequeath to my dear niece, Kate C. Cunningham the west half of my Home place described in the first clause of this will,

It is my purpose to devide my home place, giving the East half (in area) to my said sister, and west half to my said Niece, The title to each party being absolute, and in fee simple.

3. After the payment of my debts and funeral expenses, it is my will and desire that the remainder of my estate of every kind not specifically devised in this will shall go to my Sister, Sophronia Martin, my niece Kate C, Cunningham and my Nephew Edwin N. Harris, in equal shares, And I now will and devise to them the said remainder of my estate, giving to each one third, and in fee forever,

4. I will make mention of the fact that my reason for giving the bulk of my estate to my sister and niece, is to repay tem in part for constant and continued watch care, attention bestowed and loving kindness; and I am sure this will be continued during the remainder of my life.

This is my last will and its provisions have been dictated by me without suggestion from any person.

Given under my hand, at Madisonville, Ky., October 17-A.D. 1904.
