The Battle of Tippecanoe

This file was transcribed and submitted to the USGenWeb Archives by Bob Kipke, [email protected]

Bob Kipkes Transcription Notes:
Attempts have been made to follow the format of the original document. In most cases, obvious errors, from the original, are indicated by [sic]. There are numerous inconsistencies of format in Chapter XI, The Roll of Companies, and have been copied without correction or notation. Spell checking has been used throughout the document, but, due to the numerous spellings of names, some typos in the transcription may have occurred.

USGenWeb Archives Note:
None of the original formatting is present on the following pages. I have however added my own html formatting to make the presentation easier to follow and pleasing to the eye. I have also broken the file down into numerous pages to facilitate quicker loading of the pages.

At the bottom of each page you will see these buttons. They will take you to:

Table of Contents on Preface page.
    Previous page in series.
    Next page in series.

For those wishing to consult the original works, I have left the page numbers on the Contents and Illustrations sections of the preface page. I have also placed the illustrations on the pages which follow. If you wish to disable images you may still access them as a link on the illustration index.

My thanks to Bob for allowing me to place his transcription in the USGenWeb Archives..... nt
